How this calculator works
The baseline repayment is derived from the loan amount, the rate, the remaining term and your selected frequency. The calculator then simulates each scheduled period: interest is calculated, the regular repayment is applied, the extra repayment is applied, and the balance is reduced until it reaches zero.
